Refund & Cancellation
How advances, cancellations and refunds are handled for our projects.

1. Overview
Because our work is custom and time-based, this policy explains how advances, cancellations and refunds are handled for VG MAGICS projects.
2. Advance payments
The 50% advance reserves our time and covers the initial phase of work. Once work has begun, the advance is generally non-refundable, as the time and effort committed to your project cannot be recovered.
3. Cancellation by you
- Before work starts — if you cancel before any work has begun, we can refund the advance minus any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
- After work starts — if you cancel mid-project, you are billed for the work completed up to that point. Any remaining balance from the advance, if applicable, is refunded; if the work done exceeds the advance, the difference is invoiced.
4. Cancellation by us
In the rare event we cannot continue a project, we will complete a fair handover and refund any amount paid for work not yet delivered.
5. Non-refundable costs
Third-party purchases — domains, hosting, paid themes and plugins, licences and advertising spend — are non-refundable once bought or spent.
6. Completion payments
The final 50% is due on completion, before final files, source or live handover are released, unless agreed otherwise.
7. How to request
To request a cancellation or refund, email info@vgmagics.in with your project details. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method, typically within 7–10 business days.
